Use & Reuse – a series of informative films in which we demonstrate all the fantastic properties and possible usage of the dishcloth. The main reason for doing this, is to allow new markets/countries to get accustomed to the Swedish dishcloth. Of course, you can also expect some useful films, suitable for all of us, to whom this every-day hero is already a natural part of life.

 

Part 1 – Swedish Dishcloth vs. Paper Rolls

Save environment, energy, the clothes’ lifespan, as well as money, by wiping dirt with a dishcloth from outdoor clothes, instead of throwing them into a washing machine.

Part 3 – Swedish Dishcloths for Dirty Paws

For wet, dirty dog paws, the dishcloth is the optimal tool. Easy to wipe the paws clean; rinse, air dry and use it again after your next walk. At your convenience, put it in the washing machine; then the dishcloth can be reused over and over again. When a new dishcloth replaces a well-used one in the kitchen, the used one is perfect to for cleaning dirty dog paws, before ending up in the compost. Use & Reuse!

Part 4 – Swedish Dishcloth Under Your Bicycle Seat

The Swedish dishcloth is perfect for wiping wet bicycle seats. Store it under the seat and you’re always ready. Wet, squeeze, use and reuse!

Part 5 – Swedish Dishcloth for Cultivation of Cress

The dishcloth is perfect for growing cress.
– Place a damp dishcloth on a flat surface with raised edges
– Spread seed on the dishcloth
– Keep the dishcloth damp
– After 3-4 days, the cress is ready to be enjoyed!

The Original Screen printer of the Swedish Dishcloth

Teko Tryck introduced screen printed dishcloths on the market in the 1990s. With our customers logotype, design, or text the dishcloth will be a holder of their message for a long time. The Swedish dishcloth is made of 100 % biodegradable material – 70 % cellulose from FSC-marked forest and 30 % waste cotton (cotton fibers that are too short for textile industry use). Once the cloth reaches the end of its service life, it makes its way to the compost, where it decomposes in 8-12 weeks. The dishcloth is taken for granted in Sweden – a natural part of our everyday life. In our opinion, the dishcloth is an everyday hero. With a nice design, it is also a daily piece of art.

The worlds first and largest dishcloth exhibition

Ever since the 90s, when our Nisse invented the Dishcloth Theory; “Printed dishcloths make life a little more fun”, we have witnessed this dishcloth, with beautiful prints, becoming a success around the world. For several years, Nisse has talked about having an exhibition for the dishcloth, given all wonderful things we have printed through the years. High standard, everyday art! Then, in summer of 2022 it finally happened! During Sölvesborg city festival, Killebom, we held our exhibition: The world’s first and largest dishcloth exhibition. In collaboration with our amazing customers, Teko Tryck has now printed more than 15.000 designs, exported to more than 60 countries.
